overlooking an outlet Mall).

The museum's Galleries and Collection
Division houses over 16,000 artifacts from the

1830's to present time. It's exhibits include:
"Texas Revolution and Republic" and
"The Blue and Gray Gallery".
I learned about the center years ago when it was called
the Confederate Research Center. The director spoke
at a meeting of the Southwest Genealogical Society.
The Historical Research Center Division of The
Texas Heritage Museum houses one of the best
Civil War collections repositories in the nation.
