Tuesday's Tip - The Texas Heritage Museum at Hill College [Confederate Records]

The Texas Heritage Museum at Hill College
is located at Hillsboro, Texas
off of I-35 at exit 368 (sitting on a hill
overlooking an outlet Mall).
Address: 112 Lamar Drive
Hillsboro, TX  76645
(254) 659-7750

The museum's Galleries and Collection
Division houses over 16,000 artifacts from the
1830's to present time.  It's exhibits include:
"Texas Revolution and Republic" and
"The Blue and Gray Gallery".

I learned about the center years ago when it was called
the Confederate Research Center.  The director spoke
at a meeting of the Southwest Genealogical Society.
The Historical Research Center Division of The
Texas Heritage Museum houses one of the best
Civil War collections repositories in the nation.
